This international program offers comprehensive training covering the full scope of digital dentistry, with the goal of reaching a level of competence equivalent to that of an experienced clinician. It is based on an evidence-based scientific approach, allowing decisions in diagnosis, planning, and treatment to be properly justified.
The training combines theoretical lectures, hands-on exercises, case analysis, and intensive practice, addressing key topics such as intraoral scanning, CAD/CAM, dental photography, and digital radiology.
Supervised by experts from the University of Genoa and international specialists, this program emphasizes the practical integration of digital tools into daily practice, with a strong hands-on component and the necessary equipment made available.
The University Diploma in Digital Dentistry is an academic program dedicated to integrating digital technologies into the daily practice of the dental office. It offers theoretical and practical instruction covering intraoral scanning, CAD/CAM workflows, 2D and 3D imaging, guided surgery, digital prosthodontics, dental photography, and Digital Smile Design. This University Diploma enables practitioners to master modern digital tools in order to improve diagnostic accuracy, esthetics, function, and the overall quality of dental treatments.

This program consists of 8 modules detailed below.
This module addresses the foundations and applications of digital dental photography as an essential tool for communication, diagnosis, and aesthetic planning; it details the key parameters of image capture and the various equipment options (cameras and smartphones) suited to the dental practice, before offering hands-on sessions to master clinical photography techniques; it also introduces the Digital Smile Design (DSD) concept through dedicated software, allowing participants to perform an aesthetic smile analysis and design digital smile projects in a concrete and applied manner.
This module comprehensively covers modern restorative dentistry by integrating digital approaches, from diagnosis to the management of complex cases; it addresses partial restorations, the use of intraoral scanners, and the organization of a complete digital workflow including design and fabrication via CAD/CAM technologies; participants will learn to manage aesthetic and restorative materials, develop practical skills in scanning and digital procedures, while mastering the digital management of clinical records; the module also addresses specific situations such as worn dentition, functional and postural cases, and opens a complementary perspective with the possible integration of concepts derived from traditional Chinese medicine into the restorative approach.

🌍 Teaching language: Seminars are delivered in French, English or Italian depending on the instructor
